Rubber, Chemical & Petrochemical Skill Development Council (RCPSDC) is focusing on accelerating the pace of providing skilled manpower to Rubber chemical & petrochemical sector which being partly an unorganised sector and minimise the demand supply gap.
RCPSDC's does the skill gap analysis and fulfils the requirement through its affiliated training partners who conducts various training programs as per the requirement of the rubber, chemical & petrochemical industry across the country. The training curriculum is in alignment with the National Occupational Standards (NOS), which ensures that the students acquire specific skills required for a particular job role as per the guidelines laid down by the Industry.
Industry plays a very pivotal role in facilitating 'on the job training’ for vocational and skill-based training at the industry premises so that the trainees gets the complete hand on experience and ready for job.
I hereby urge the industry members to join hands and come forward to promote the development of the skill ecosystem by accelerating the practices of up-skilling their existing workforce and hiring RCPSDC certified skilled manpower in their organizations.
To accelerate India’s transition to a $5 trillion economy, increasing competitiveness of employment-intensive sectors through upskilling is a must. Having been closely involved in a sector of national importance such as telecom, it is my privilege to work on Rubber, Chemical and Petrochemicals, three engines of the economy. With the vast experience of the RCPSDC Governing Council along with passion and commitment of the team members, I am sure we will be able to make a distinct difference in raising skilling quotient in all three sectors.
